Background & Experience

With over 18 years’ experience in the sport and education sector, Ciaran brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Pro-fertility team. After discovering his own infertility over a decade ago, Ciaran set out on the quest to discover the truth about how exercise and lifestyle can impact male fertility and what steps can be taken to prevent and improve an individual’s fertility naturally. Ciaran researched and subsequently developed his own training programme and implemented lifestyle changes to improve his own fertility and after a near 10 year fertility journey is a proud father of two. 

Ciaran now uses his knowledge and experience to help other men achieve their dream of becoming a father, through the development of individual and bespoke training programmes that cater to his clients’ needs, while optimising their fertility. On top of this, Ciaran is an ambassador with Fertility Network UK, he is passionate about breaking down the stigma linked to male infertility and regularly takes part in events to raise awareness of male infertility, which includes public speaking and charitable events. He is an also a member of Fertility Networks HIMfertility support group and can regular be found at the monthly support meetings supporting men through the emotional journey linked to infertility.

Fitness Programmes

What to expect

Ciaran’s 4-phase training programme is tailored specifically for men looking to improve their fertility and sperm health.

Phase 1: In Phase 1, you’ll have a video consultation with Ciaran where he’ll discuss your goals and objectives, as well as collect key information about your general health, nutritional habits, and lifestyle. From there, He will create a customised training programme that meets your physical and mental needs.

Phase 2: During the second phase, you’ll complete a series of fitness and body stat assessments, which you’ll have access to via an online training app. This allows us to track your progress accurately and make changes to your programme as needed.

Phase 3: Phase three involves implementing your individualised training programme.  Ciaran provides weekly updates on your programme as well as offers nutritional guidance. You can also reach him via the app if you have any questions, and he’ll be there to track your progress and provide motivation.

Phase 4: Finally, in the fourth phase, we’ll have a “Next Steps” consultation once you’ve met your goals or completed your training programme. We’ll discuss and decide on the next step of your programme based on your needs and goals.
